Fwix Wire API

The Wire API allows developers and media outlets to take advantage of Fwix's data platform to incorporate local news and information into their web properties.  Currently, fetching information from the Wire is unrestricted, but publication requires pre-approval.  Usage of the Wire will be monitored and limited according to the amount that you access.  We ask that you please comply with our Wire Standards to maximize the utility to users and to ensure that content publishers get the credit they deserve for the content they produce.

Example Implementation

To assist in your implemenation of the Fwix API we provide an example implementation hosted here. The example consists of Javascript which submits a zipcode to a PHP page. The PHP then hits the Fwix API and returns JSON for the Javascript to display.
